Kelsy first started yoga practice in 2009 during college. After several years off of the mat, Kelsy rediscovered yoga during a self-care journey beginning in 2018. The holistic mind-body connection of yoga practice offered her a path toward healing. The mat has become a place of hope, healing, and wellness for Kelsy. Inspired by her own healing, Kelsy completed the 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2020 with Steph Ball-Mitchell and the Yoga and Ayurvedic Center based in Pennsylvania and is now a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance. Kelsy also has additional training in restorative yoga with plans to obtain additional training in prenatal yoga. Kelsy offers restorative and gentle flow private yoga sessions for kids through adults.
Kelsy is certified in Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a yogic sleep in which the participant enters a conscious meditative state between awake and sleep stages. This practice is a deep relaxation practice lead through the use of guided meditation. Kelsy offers individualized Yoga Nidra sessions for healing. Each session begins with instruction, may include gentle movement, and a Yoga Nidra practice.
