A little bit about me…
I am a Registered Nurse. I have worked in private duty nursing for 8 years caring for children in their home and school settings. I obtained an Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 2012 followed by a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2017. It was during my BSN program that I discovered meditation on a personal and professional level. Meditation became a source of healing for me in my own experience with anxiety. Additionally, I realized that meditation guidance was something I wanted to share with as many people as possible for their own healing practice.
In 2018, I began a meditation instruction program through the American Institute of Healthcare Professionals. In April of 2020 I completed 190 hours of training in meditation instruction. My meditation instruction is focused on individualized self-healing and guidance. I feel that we are all going on a life journey, our journeys just have different chapters. When I work with an individual or group I like to learn about their chapters and help them find a meditation practice that aligns with their story.
In 2020, I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training with the Steph Ball-Mitchell (virtually) at the Yoga and Ayurvedic Center based in Pennsylvania. I believe the yoga mat is a holistic place to heal and nurture the mind, body, and spirit. I have additional training in Yoga Nidra as well as restorative yoga practice. I am registered with the Yoga Alliance as a RYT 200. I hope to obtain additional training in prenatal yoga. I offer sessions for all ages in restorative and gentle flow yoga.
When I am not practicing nursing, meditation, or yoga, I enjoy walking, hiking, fitness, spending time with my family, and snuggling with my dog Ellie.
